Dr. Melissa Nash and The NASH Association
Dr. Melissa Nash, with an unwavering passion for teaching and learning, dedicated over 22 years of her life to public education. Throughout her career, she saw firsthand the challenges faced in underrepresented communities in the St. Louis Metropolitan Region. This experience fueled her desire to do more—beyond the classroom—to make a lasting impact on the lives of students, their families and educators alike.
Together with her spouse, Military Veteran Ryan Nash, Dr. Melissa Nash founded The NASH Association (2016), a non-profit organization with a mission to provide essential resource tools and services to those who desire a reset. Driven by her vision of holistic support, Dr. Nash collaborated to pioneer the first Full-Service School initiative in St. Louis Missouri, transforming local public schools into one-stop community hubs. These hubs includes essential boutiques, free healthy food markets, and a self-care and wellness centers for adults—innovative spaces designed to address both the emotional, mental health and physical needs of the community and educational population.
The NASH Association meets the everchanging needs beyond the organization..it is a testament to Dr. Nash's lifelong commitment to education and her belief that every individual deserves the opportunity to thrive while practicing self-care. Her work continues to inspire and uplift the community; proving that with compassion, dedication, and purpose...meaningful change is possible.

Meet Dr. Melissa Nash

Presidential Lifetime Achievement Awardee (2023 & 2024);
Dr. Melissa Nash has dedicated over twenty-two years in public education
and service to the St. Louis Metropolitan Region. She fosters programs,
resources, and services to aid educational barriers. Most notably; she was
the first to foster a essentials boutique, free healthy food market, and
meditation memorial garden in the inner city. Dr. Nash also championed
the first Full-Service Self-care & Wellness Center (9/14/23). Throughout
her educational career; she was appointed to chief-of-staff, serves on
executive boards and committees, and nationally recognized for her
initiation and commitment to the only “Full-Service Schools” initiative
in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Nash was awarded The Spirit of St. Louis, The
Spirit of Little Bit, Proclamations/Resolutions (City/County), Apple for
the Teacher, Emergent Leader Award, etc. She has earned five collegiate degrees (certifications), and
holds community honorary certificates from “LeadMO and Neighborhood Leadership Academy & Fellows”.
Dr. Nash is the Founder & CEO of The NASH "Network Advocates Seeing Hope" Association, an
organization dedicated to serving key stakeholders through community partnerships. She’s a proud member
of lota Phi Lambda Inc. (First Business Women Sorority) and NCNW Inc. Dr. Nash is a loving mother, wife, servant leader, and youth and community advocate!
